About me and my practice
My Practice
Are you carrying too much?
You may be carrying too much emotionally, physically, or mentally. Burnout, caring responsibilities, health changes, anxiety, low mood, or uncertainty about identity and self-worth can all feel overwhelming.
My Commitment to Inclusive Practice
I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds and identities. My specialisms include:
* Committed ally to LGBTQIA+ communities.
* Working with neurodivergent clients (including ADHD and autism).
* Supporting clients living with chronic illness, disability, or sight loss.
I recognise how physical health, identity, and belonging are deeply connected to mental well-being.
The Power of Lived Experience
As someone living with sight loss myself, I understand how adjusting to change and navigating a world not always built for difference can influence how we see ourselves and relate to others. My work draws on both professional training and lived experience to help you reconnect with your strengths and values, supporting change that feels realistic and sustainable.
Sessions provide a space to speak openly and without judgement. My aim is to help you feel understood, supported, and able to move forward with a renewed sense of balance and self-assurance.

My Experience
Therapeutic Model
I am a trauma-informed integrative counsellor offering both brief and open-ended therapy. My approach is rooted in person-centred values and strategically draws from multiple disciplines:
* Psychodynamic
* Cognitive Behavioural (CBT)
* Gestalt
* Transactional Analysis
This allows me to tailor sessions to your pace, goals, and unique lived experience.
How We Can Work Together
I offer two main ways of working:
* Short-Term Focus: Focused on specific concerns such as anxiety, low mood, stress, or loss of confidence.
* Long-Term Reflection: A deeper process exploring how early experiences, relationships, or trauma continue to shape life in the present.
My experience includes working extensively with clients managing chronic illness, disability, and neurodivergence, as well as those experiencing burnout, grief, or identity-related challenges.
My role is to provide a steady, collaborative space where you can think, feel, and speak freely without pressure or judgement. I aim for therapy to feel inclusive, grounded, and accessible, supporting you to develop clarity, resilience, and a stronger sense of self.
